This tool fasten the workflow by allowing artists to auto import any reference models they might need without having to navigate to the specific files themselves and avoid scaling conversion or mistakes down the line. |

- Auto import multiple models for scaling reference. The options include head and shoe occlusion models to ensure that the model would display correctly in AR viewer and human body for AR scene scaling.
- Allow user to export a selected product to the project's path.

Tool Summary:
I wrote this camera exporter tool to improve the camera creation and export pipeline between Maya and Substance 3D Painter for rendering. This tool saves artists up to 3 minuets in Maya alone (which adds up to roughly two hours when you're working with 50 objects per day) while maintaining universal camera framing for different product sizes and shapes for better rendering results. |
Key Features:
- Allow user to auto generate frontal camera with predetermined settings for a selected products.
- Export a selected product together with camera as .fbx files to any folder selection. Otherwise the default destination is the project's path.
