Project Summary:
As the company began to explore user representation in the metaverse space, I was responsible for leading an avatar development project from concept stage all the way to animation and tool building in Unity. Features:

Research Stage:
The team looked into various types of aesthetic options in the ecosystem that might be appealing to Gen-Z users. It's important that the avatars must look friendly and lovable, but at the same time not overly mature. So we explored different designs, initially taking inspiration from Squid games collectible toys, until we pushed toward a slightly more realistic and mature body dimension. |
